This lovely spring-themed quilt focuses on 3 outer blocks that rotate around the beautiful center medallion starburst. A combination of flowers, leaves and butterflies create the perfect garden get-away. The leaves will enable you to learn a Drunkards Path block, (curved piecing), and a unique way to make a tonal colored leaf. The flowers showcase a basic nine patch centers & stitch and flip outer pieces. The medallion pieces are half square triangles and a 4 patch blocks sewn to create the starburst effect. Class Registration: $69
Supplies Needed for Class:
- Sewing machine
- Class pattern (purchase from instructor in class - $11)
- 1/4 inch foot for machine
- Spray starch
- Rotary rulers – recommended: 10 ½” square, 20 ½” square (if you have one), & straight ruler (18 ½” x 4 ½” or larger)
- Thread
- Basic Sewing Supplies (straight pins and pin cushion, scissors, seam ripper, fabric marking pen or pencil, small cutting mat (no larger than 12x18), and a rotary cutter)

- Lt Blue Solid - 1/2 yd medallion background
- Blue Floral - 1/4 yd for center block
- Blue Leaf Print - 3/8 yd for blocks
- White multi colored dot - 1 1/8 yd background print
- Coral Dot and Blue Butterfly Print - 10" square from each for blocks
- Assorted green prints and tonals - 3/8 yd total for blocks
- Coral Butterfly Print - 3/8 yard for blocks and border 2
- Peach Dot - 1/4 yd for blocks
- White Floral - 3/8 yd for blocks
- Multicolor Floral - 1/4 yd for center block
