If you've ever wanted to try a mini quilt, then this is for you! So fun and simple with EasyPiecing Grid. Get great points every time. Cut 1" squares for an amazing HALF inch finished! Finishes 18 x 18 before borders. It can be made smaller or bigger very easily. Great confidence builder on color and design. Bonus Pincushion demo!
Class Registration: $69
Kit Fee: $30
Supplies Needed for Class:
- Sewing machine
- (4) Elmer’s washable glue sticks OR Sewline glue pens (Carmen prefers the white that dries clear)
- Basic Sewing Supplies (straight pins and pin cushion, scissors, seam ripper, fabric marking pen or pencil, small cutting mat (no larger than 12x18), and a rotary cutter)
- Optional – Applique pressing sheet
Fabric:
This can be as scrappy as you like! There are a total of 1227 squares in this project. (don’t let that scare you!) I recommend choosing around 12 fabrics and cut 100 squares of each color. *1/8 yard of fabric yields over 165 squares. If you have a favorite fabric you want to use a lot, cut more for class.
