Suncatcher is a foundation paper pieced design by Quiltworx. Foundation paper piecing, floating points, Template Layout Sheets, and curved paper piecing techniques for attaching the curved sashing are all featured in these instructions. After the paper piecing is completed, traditional curved piecing is required to assemble the blocks. This quilt is fun to make and easily adapted to using strips and background fabric from your own stash if you like.

Fabric:
- Fabric amounts for one table topper
- Large Flying geese around outer circle – 3.25” of each of 7 colors
- Small Flying geese inside circle – 2.5” of each of 5 colors
- Flying geese and rectangles in corners 5.25” of each of 4 colors
- Center of circle – 1/8 yd
Thin border around circle – 1/4 yd
Supplies Needed for Class:
- Sewing machine with ¼” foot (no guard)
- 6” Add a quarter ruler
- Scotch Tape
- Fabric glue pen
- Glue stick (UHU)
- Flower pins
- Patchwork pins (Clover 2507 preferred)
- Ziploc bags
- Size 70 sharp microtex needles
- High quality cotton thread
- Box of jumbo paper clips
- Color sharpie (not highlighter and not in black)
- Highlighter to mark instruction booklet

- Basic Sewing Supplies (straight pins and pin cushion, scissors, seam ripper, fabric marking pen or pencil, small cutting mat (no larger than 12x18), and a rotary cutter)
