Notes
Meet in the Fragrance Garden. Please arrive 15 minutes early to give yourself time to walk down to the Fragrance Garden.
The author sees an add for a small stone house in a tiny village in France. Thinking it would be an ideal place to write and paint, he leaves New York City to spend a year in Southern France. French Dirt is a love story between a man and his garden. It’s about plowing, planting, watering, and tending. Most of all, its’s about the growing friendship between an American outsider and a close-knit community of French farmers.
