Monkshood: The Third Chronicle
This month we will focus on a novel that includes both gardens and plants so by popular demand we will be delving into the world of a 12th century Bendictine Monk who is a gifted gardener, healer & sleuth. This will just be just a taste of the 21 book series Brother Cadfael Chronicles. Brother Cadfael solves mysteries using his knowledge of plants and his keen observations of human nature. We will conclude book club with an in depth visit to a display of plants from the Brother Cadfael series in the Fragrance Garden.
