Punch needle embroidery is a folk craft that has recently gained popularity. In this 2-hour class learn the basics of how to use the punch needle tool and how to create a design of your own. Have you seen wall hangings at craft shows and say to yourself “I want to do that” but don’t because the words warp and weft send you into a tailspin and you’re overwhelmed by all the supplies you need? Come learn weaving essentials in a modern way on a laser cut loom. You will walk away with a loom, specialized tools and the knowledge to succeed. Secret Garden Book Club
Join us for our second year of the Secret Garden Book Club at Ashton Gardens. We will read four selected books and meet every couple of months to discuss and share ideas from the books. We will then take some of those ideas out into Gardens as we observe new plants, learn new garden skills, and enjoy doing a take-home planting in the greenhouse.

Splish splash you'll be taking a bath with soap YOU made! Join us as we venture through the suds and into a class which is both easy to follow step by step and encourages creativity along the way. Butterflies & Specimens (Two Part)
In this two-part class we’ll first learn the basics of how and why you should start an insect collection, where to find specimens, the collecting and pinning equipment every pinner needs to have, as well as tips and tricks for preparing beautiful, quality works of insect art. Then you will learn the art of ‘spreading’ and how to properly pin butterflies, moths and more to begin your own collection. Each registration includes up to two participants and one project.
