Hack the Garden

Gardeners face all kinds of challenges from gardening in small spaces, extending the growing season, providing enough water, managing pests and making compost. Brainstorm a Garden Hack to make the a garden easier, safer or more productive!

This is a friendly competition and all teams must present their design for judging in their category (Professional, Collegiate, or Average Joe/Jane). Each team must create a physical prototype of their design. Prototypes may be made from simple supplies like cardboard, pipe cleaners, straws, scrap wood, tin, etc., as long as the function of your hack is demonstrated.

Bring your own materials to create models or prototypes of your garden hack designs. Thanksgiving Point will provide an assortment of tools to help you design and prototype during the event (such as table space, white boards and hand tools).
