Time to learn precision piecing techniques to include, how to sew together small pieces and successfully “square” them up to fit nicely into a block. Karen covers the importance of preparing fabrics, cutting accurately and the importance of a 1/4” seam allowance so that Mr. Tom T. Gobble’s ‘widdle waddle’ fits together nicely under his beak. Karen also shares tips like how to trim for accuracy to enhance one’s skill level and gain confidence along the way. Let’s get ready to invite Mr. Tom T. Gobble inside for Thanksgiving!

Supplies:
- Sewing Machine
- 1/4” Presser Foot
- Acrylic Rulers for cutting fabric
- A 4- 1/2” Bloc Loc
- 6” or 6 1/2” Acrylic Ruler with a 45-degree angle for trimming half square triangles and for trimming small units
- Rotary Cutter
- Pins
- Small Scissors
- Mechanical Pencil for drawing diagonal lines or Diagonal Seam Tape for sewing diagonal lines
- Extra Needles
- Bobbins
- Thread
- Seam Ripper and any other tools you like to work with
- Basic Sewing Supplies (straight pins and pin cushion, scissors, seam ripper, fabric marking pen or pencil, small cutting mat (no larger than 12x18), and a rotary cutter)
