Witch Hat Sally – A Halloween twist on Sun Bonnet Sue is what this quilt is all about. Applique makes up the majority of this quilt.
Class Registration: $75
Supplies:
- 1 1/2 yd background fabric
- 3/4 yd black fabric for sashing and applique
- 1/4 yd green fabric for sashing corner stones
- 1/8 yd of 7 different fabrics for witch applique shapes OR 40 – 5” x 7” rectangles for witch applique shapes
- 1/8 yd orange fabric for pumpkins
- 1/8 yd fabric for broom handles and pumpkin stems
- 1/8 yd dark tan fabric for broom bristles
- 2 1/2 yds fusible web
- Applique sheet
- Rotary cutter and mat
- 6” x 24” ruler
- Matching threads
- Scissors (recommended Karen Kay Buckley Applique Scissors)
- Seam Ripper
- Pencil
- Pins or clips
- Basic Sewing Supplies (straight pins and pin cushion, scissors, seam ripper, fabric marking pen or pencil, small cutting mat (no larger than 12x18), and a rotary cutter)
