Finished Project Size: Approx. 18” x 36”
What a perfect time to make a table runner or small wall hanging for the Fall. Combine a large pumpkin or a variety of pumpkins with a number of falling fall leaves. In this workshop we will work on a larger decorated pumpkin and cut a variety of leaves to be included in this project. This project will be completed and stitched at home.
Class Registration: $75
Supplies:
- Patterns provided in the workshop by the Instructor
- Fabrics: Fall colored fabrics suitable for leaves in a variety of oranges, browns, greens, yellow and red, small pieces approx. 6”. A variety of oranges for the pumpkin from dark value, mediums and some light values. Flowers suitable for fussy cutting for details on the pumpkin like gaffe or other floral fabrics.
- Background approx. 1/2 yd in light or natural color. Can be chosen after workshop
- Approx 1/2 yd of Pellon 830 (Easy Pattern) interfacing or similar foundation
- Pencil, chalk pencil or similar fabric marking tools. Disappearing ink pen works. (Recommended Bohin chalk pencil, red one)
- Scissors, sharp and good for cutting small pieces of fabric. Ex: KKB 6” perfect scissors.
- Fabric glue, like Alennes Original Tacky Glue. Can be glue bottle with needle dispenser. Tool for applying glue like a toothpick or glue applicators will be available for sale.
- Optional: Tweezers
- Optional: Battery powered Light box, like a phone charger/battery pack
- Basic Sewing Supplies (straight pins and pin cushion, scissors, seam ripper, fabric marking pen or pencil, small cutting mat (no larger than 12x18), and a rotary cutter)
