Looks hard,but it’s SO EASY! This beautiful quilt is so fun to make. Build your confidence in fabric choices and design, and enjoy perfect points every time!
Class Registration: $75
Fabric:
- Mandatory Kit: $55 Kit includes 13 panels 2” Finished Easy piecing Grid, pattern, and instructions. Kit does NOT include fabric.
- Two jelly rolls cut ino 2.5” squares or 1185 cut squares, with colors mixed evenly. Every pre-cut 2.5” jelly roll is different as far as how many strips of each fabric are included. You need a roll that has at least 40 strips. Keep in mind how many colors or shades you want; some rolls have 4-5 different colors, where others may read as two colors! Make sure you’ve got a good variety of colors or contrast. If you want more specific fabrics buy extra yardage or add a third jelly roll. Another option is scraps - Cut into 2.5” squares.
Background: 1 3/4 yds
- Cut 340 squares 2.5” before class
Supplies:
- 3 Elmer's Washable School Glue
- (Optional) applique pressing sheet
- Small iron and pressing surface (there will be some to share)
- Basic Sewing Supplies (straight pins and pin cushion, scissors, seam ripper, fabric marking pen or pencil, small cutting mat (no larger than 12x18), and a rotary cutter)
