Fall in love with this New England Quilt! This big and modern maple leaf makes a big impact. This class is beginner friendly or if a seasoned quilter wants a quick finish, this quilt is for you! We will talk about color placement so this quilt really pops. Each leaf is a different color and we will talk about how to place the fabrics to create this effect. We will also talk about how to use the ‘low volume’ fabrics in this pattern that are included in a fabric collection. We will work on cutting and assembling the quilt top and go over basic instructions like how to get a perfect half square triangle. I will share multiple ways to create a half square triangle and you can pick the method that works for you. So grab your favorite Fall fabric 10” squares and we can make this together in time for the Fall season!
Class Registration: $69
Supplies Needed for Class:
- Sewing machine
- Basic sewing supplies (straight pins and pin cushion, scissors, seam ripper, fabric marking pen or pencil, small cutting mat (no larger than 12x18), and a rotary cutter)
Fabrics:
- 1- 10" fabric stacker or layer cake
- 3 1/2 yards background fabric
- 5/8 yards binding
- 4 1/2 yards backing
