While learning many tips to constructing this quilt, students are introduced to the Corner Pop II tool by Studio 180 Design. You will learn to use the tool to make the units that make this quilt come alive and shine. Students will also learn how to cut strip sets fast and efficiently using a Stripology XL ruler. Come join Raija and learn to make a quilt that is sure to be loved for many years to come!
Class Registration: $149 (Includes lunch)
Supplies Needed for Class:
- Sewing machine
- Corner Pop II Tool by Studio 180 Design
- Sweet Maria Pattern (https://www.quilterstreasurechest.com/store/p335/sweetmaria.html).
- Optional: Stripology XL Ruler by Creative Grids, Pressing Bar, InvisiGrip, Wool Mat, Seam Align Gentle Hold Fabric Glue.
- Basic Sewing Supplies (straight pins and pin cushion, scissors, seam ripper, fabric marking pen or pencil, small cutting mat (no larger than 12x18), and a rotary cutter)
Fabric:
- 4 yards of Background Fabric
- 5/8 yard of soft blue fabric
- 1/4 yard of each green and purple fabric
- 1 1/4 yards of bright blue fabric
- (not needed for the class: 5/8 yards for binding and 3 1/2 yards for backing)
