See behind-the-scenes spaces only available through this exclusive offering. During this hour-long tour of our working lab, you’ll:

• See the Barosaurus project up close and learn about all the new discoveries being made about this amazing dinosaur.
• Learn how we use the science of “taphonomy” to recreate the ancient life of this animal and how it became a fossil.
• Learn the process of fossil preparation and see first-hand how the delicate bones are removed from the rock, cleaned, and preserved for study and exhibition.
• Experience the sounds and smells of the lab and test your skills at using an air scribe on a 145-million-year-old piece of the ancient world.
